The University of Ghardaïa is honored to host the International Congress on the Valorization and Conservation of Arid Ecosystems (I.C.V.C.A.E.2025), a major, multidisciplinary scientific event.This event, soon to be held on our campus, represents a crucial platform for researchers and academics worldwide to exchange knowledge and propose sustainable solutions for the preservation and development of resources in arid areas.

Venue: Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences and Earth Sciences, University of Ghardaïa, Algeria.
Main Objective: To discuss ways of preserving arid ecosystems and developing their resources through a multidisciplinary approach encompassing environmental sciences, sustainable agriculture, and the green economy.
Main Scientific Tracks
The congress will revolve around the following major tracks:
Floristic Biodiversity: Conservation of indigenous flora and habitat rehabilitation.
Faunistic Biodiversity: Study of the diversity and distribution of animal species.
Microbial Biodiversity: Roles and functions of microorganisms in soil resilience.
Agrosystem Functioning: Analysis of the sustainability of agricultural systems and water management.
